Established in 2019 and headquartered in Washington, D.C., Griffin strives to provide affordable, innovative, sustainable services with the ultimate goal of creating a safer future for our fellow citizens.

Meet the Team

Charlotte Stasio, director of operations

Griffin Director of Operations, Charlotte Stasio, excels at developing emergency management and public safety plans and policy. Her professional experience includes developing doctrine for the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and local policy and planning guidance for jurisdictions in the National Capital Region. She is passionate about improving access and inclusion in emergency management, with a particular focus on the transgender community and people with disabilities. Charlotte is a certified Emergency Medical Technician and works in the field as a first responder for an emergency medical services provider in Philadelphia.

Mohamed Osman, Research Specialist

As the Research Specialist, Mohamed conducts in-depth research on a range of topics related to emergency management. He supports the development of innovative cultural competency training for first responders in this role. Mohamed also helps Griffin to engage with organizations dedicated to fostering diversity, improving accessibility, and innovating new preparedness solutions. Mohamed is highly effective in high-stress situations and delivers results when working under pressure. He is certified in CPR and is well versed in Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). Mohamed is bilingual with fluency in Arabic and conversational Spanish.

Cg Garrard, Owner

Our Owner, Cg Garrard, founded Griffin LLC with 18 years of experience in emergency management that has spanned all levels of government (federal, state, and local), private sector, and non-governmental organizations. She holds a Master's degree in Hazards Geography from the University of South Carolina, where she worked at the Hazards and Vulnerability Research Institute. Joanne R. Stevenson, Phd

Joanne is a consultant based in Canterbury, New Zealand with extensive research and practical experience helping people, organizations, and places become resilient, agile, and transform for the future. Joanne has post-disaster research and consulting experience in New Zealand, the United States, and the United Kingdom, examining recovery and resilience of communities, economies, organizations, and infrastructure systems. She specializes in using data and measurement to enhance resilience and disaster risk reduction outcomes. She has experience with a range of research tools including spatial statistics, network analysis, survey design and delivery, and qualitative interviewing and analysis. Joanne is passionate about using the best information available to make meaningful change through practice, policy, and community collaboration.

Wynona "Noni" Earp, resident tough cookie, is Ms. Garrard's service animal and has over a year of experience bossing people around.
